Some days ago, we finished a batch of spare parts for metal lined slurry pump 6x4D-MAH, including throat bush, impeller, frame plate liner insert , volute liner etc. All of them are made of A05 (27 PCT chromium).

 

Here is short description for slurry pump wet end parts:

 

1, Impeller is the core working part of slurry pump. The impeller is driven by the pump shaft and rotates in the volute liner. Through the rotation of the impeller, the mechanical energy is transmitted to the slurry to obtain dynamic pressure energy. The code of the impeller in the photo is E4147.

 

2. The volute liner is used to receive the liquid discharged from the impeller and convert the kinetic energy of the liquid into pressure. Therefore, the volute liner should have sufficient strength and good process characteristics. The code of the volute liner in the photo is E4110.

 

 

 3. The main function of the plates is to cooperate with the volute liner to form a semi closed flow channel to make the slurry run in this space.

 

According to different models, the plates of the slurry pump are divided into throat bush (E4083) and frame plate liner insert (E4041). The throat bush of the slurry pump is connected with the water inlet pipe, and the pump shaft passes through the frame plate liner insert and is connected with the impeller.
